Rita Maye Bland splits her time between producing and casting. As a casting director she specializes in dance, large rock tours & corporate events. Her credits include Britney Spears Circus World Tour 2009, numerous Madonna World Tours, The 81st Academy Awards “Enchanted” Segment, Hairspray (LA dance casting for the feature film), The Spice Girls 2008 Tour, American Idol 2008 Tour “Tour Host” & Skechers “D’Lites” Commercials.

As a producer, she’s had the honor of working with incredibly talented directors. Her credits include assisting director Raj Kapoor on American Idol Live 2008 and 2009 Tours and Dancing with the Stars Tour 2009.  She has been part of director Jamie King’s production team on Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics Tour, RAIN’s World Tour and Ricky Martin’s Black & White Tour.  Rita also assisted Robin Antin / Pussycat Dolls from 2002 – 04. As a production coordinator for The JammX Kids she worked with Merv & Andrew Adelson, Danny Kallis and Bob Bain Prods.

In the live events and corporate world, Rita has produced elements and talent coordinated for Diann Valentine Events and UMCA/Nike Events, working on high profile projects such as Jimmy Jackson Wedding and Mike Tyson vs. Lennox Lewis Post Fight Party, Nike NBA All-Star Weekends , and Nike BattleGrounds w/ Ludacris, 50 Cent & Snoop Dogg.  Additional corporate clients and events include: Panasonic, McDonalds, Mattel, Microsoft, Sony, Intel, Nokia, Ubisoft, Namco, Sega, Skechers, Fanta, Macy’s Passport, and E3.
